car

from the north: motorway A7 to exit "Aalen-Westhausen",
&                     then turn right, east onto B29 for 7 km to Lauchheim  
from the west:  use B29 to Lauchheim
                      take the first exit into town
                      continue on to the pedestian traffic light
                      take a right turn south (Schillerstrasse / Kuhsteige)
                      take a left turn on the 3rd intersection (Rosenstrasse)
                      it's the second house on the right

from the south: motorway A7 to exit "Aalen-Oberkochen",
                      then turn right west onto L1084,
                      after 500m turn right onto L1076 and continue north for 9 km through 2 villages
                      down the mountain into Lauchheim
                      after the rail underpass take the second right (Gerlachstrasse)
                      continue to the 3rd possible right and turn south (Kuhsteige)
                      take the 2nd possible left onto Rosenstrasse
                      it's the second house on the right

from the east:   use B29 to Lauchheim
                     take the first exit into town
                      in front of the old gate tower take a left turn south ( Lindenstrasse )
                      take the 3rd possible left turn ( Fuchsmühlweg )
                      take the 3rd possible right turn ( Rosenstrasse ) opposite a lumber yard
                      continue to the second to last house on the left
- visitor parking lots are in front of the building

rail / bus

take the train from Aalen or Nördlingen / Donauwörth
- 10 min on foot from rail station "Lauchheim"
walk eastward always taking the first opportunity going east on footpaths and along roads through a housing estate ( Bahnhofstrasse to Lementalweg / Geiselweg / In den Abtwiesen )
at the intersection of "In den Abtwiesen" with "Kuhsteige" turn right / south
continue uphill for ca. 200m
turn left onto Rosenstrasse

take Bus 9676 from Aalen or Nördlingen until "Lauchheim-Schule"
- 5 min on foot from bus stop "Lauchheim-Schule"
take the road south uphill at the pedestrian traffic light ( Schillerstrasse )
continue straight uphill across 2 intersections ( on Kuhsteige ) for ca. 350m
turn left onto Rosenstrasse

it's the second house on the right
